We do not provide Safety Statement Training to enable persons undertake the development of Safety Statements, as a basic course would be insufficient and we would reccommend to ensure competence from a training prespective that a third level course in Occupational Health and Safety  (miniumum higher national diploma/ degree level) should be considered, in addition to the appropriate knowledge and experience as is legally required for a competent person as set out in the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005.
